Saint Bernadette Catholic School is a Christ-filled learning community promoting faith, acceptance, service and peace.
Service is a part of our mission, and we are committed to developing a community that has the awareness and responsibility of its call to serve others and work towards social justice. With the guidance and direction of Jesus Christ and the assistance and cooperation of the St. Bernadette parish community, students are challenged to imitate Christ. From helping local charities, families and individuals to more far-reaching projects on a national stage, our community comes together to help those in need of assistance. Each year we hold a food drive during Thanksgiving, we support families with our Adopt-a-Family outreach at Christmas, our students make prayer cards for the parish and regularly support the homebound, and we recently held penny wars to support those suffering from recent hurricanes. Our CAKE (Community Action Kids Edition) Club meets regularly to provide more service opportunities to the students and families in our school community. Every other year, we look forward to our St. Baldrick’s event in memory of Michael Orbany, a St. Bernadette student who passed away from cancer.
