Broadcast Announcements

St. Bernadette has engaged students to join a broadcast team to deliver live morning announcements to all classrooms by compositing the announcers using green screen technology. After some brief training, the team of students handle all aspects of the production, from camera operation, to on-screen graphics, sound mixing, and reporting. Rotating responsibilities give the participants hands-on training and a peek into how news stations work—just another way that we’re delivering experiential education to our students.
